The task includes design, procurement and plant and equipment installation for on-line load monitoring of the belt conveyors and excavators operation at Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD and power supply system rehabilitation (design, procurement and plant and equipment installation): equipment energy management through remote electrometer reading and electric power quality analysis at Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD.
Automated productivity control shall be carried out within every overburden excavation section. A local network shall be constructed on the territory of each of these sections, and each facility which is part of the technology (including operator’s section control room) shall be equipped with devices to connect to this network.
Providing the network connectivity among the facilities shall allow the operator of each excavator to receive a target load sent by the control room operator. The operators working in the control rooms of the mine section shall have the values of certain technological parameters (received in on-line mode) of each facility at their disposal, on the basis of which decisions shall be taken as regards specifying the productivity of individual excavators.
The storage of collected data on the status of facilities in a SQL-compatible relational database shall be organized in the control room of each section, and the information shall be displayed in such a way as to allow immediate monitoring. Thus a local source of technological information shall be created at each overburden excavation section.
