In this project Risk Engineering Ltd. accomplished the conceptual and detailed design work for parts: architectural, civil structures, mechanical, water supply and sewerage, fire safety, HVAC, I&C.
The installation of all process equipment, pipelines and field I&C has been accomplished by an erection organization owned by Risk Engineering Ltd.
The combine enterprise is built by implementing a modular principle: Generator - Motor – Heat exchanger – Stack. Two cogeneration modules have been installed, made by the German company MWM, of type TCG 2032 V12, natural gas-fired. The total installed electric power is 6,66 MWe, and the thermal power is 7,3 MWth. The electric power is being sold on the free market, and the thermal power, in the form of hot water with temperature 60°С to 90°С, is supplied for heating the greenhouse complex which is part of the combine enterprise. The efficiency factor of the electrical part is 43,5%, and that of the thermal part is 43,6%. The overall efficiency of the plant is 87.1%.
