In the frames of KNPP Units 5&6 Modernization Program, Critical Safety Parameters Display System was designed and implemented.
The purpose of the project is to provide means for interpretation of the importance and meaning of the measured analog values of the system parameters, discrete signals and unit equipment condition. This interpretation is presented in easily accessible, intuitive and mostly synthesized Man-Machine Interface (MMI) so that the operator be able to quickly orient about the condition of the unit as a whole, in any mode of its operation, to identify any possible problem and to be supported by the system in taking adequate solution for follow-up actions.
The stages of the projects are: detailed design of the system, manufacturing and delivery of the required equipment, installation, check out and start-up.
The system has been initially implemented at the FSS-1000 (Full Scope Simulator), where it was verified and validated including by simulation of slow and quick transients and then implemented at KNPP Units 5&6.
